Apple ID cards are not removable. To remove your card, you must first create a new Apple ID and enter your old card’s information into the new account.


Open the Apple Pay app on your iPhone and go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay. Select the card you want to delete by clicking it. Select Delete from the drop-down menu.

Open the Settings app on your phone. Tap your name to enter edit mode. Select Payment & Shipping from the drop-down menu. Use Touch ID, Face ID, or your iPhone passcode to log in. Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. Select the credit cards you want to delete or remove from your account. In the top left corner, click Delete.

If you have a balance owing on something you’ve purchased from the App Store or iTunes Store but Apple has been unable to charge you, you won’t be able to remove a payment method from your Apple ID until that debt is satisfied.

Your payment method might have expired and need to be updated. If you just got a new credit card, all you have to do is change the date on your card and the CVV number! Then, after that, go into Payment & Shipping by using your Apple ID password. Next, choose the payment option you wish to update.
