If you’re like most people, you probably have an IMVU account. An IMVU account is a service that allows you to easily manage your online accounts and keep track of your interactions with other users. Unfortunately, on July 1st, 2019, the company that providesIMVU announced that it will be shutting down. This is a big loss for users who rely on the service to keep track of their online activities and connect with friends and family. IMVU was founded in 2014 and has been providing its users with an easy way to manage their accounts since then. The company said that it will continue to offer support for its customers until September 30th, 2019, but there’s no guarantee that they’ll be able to keep up with the demands of online activity.
IMVU may disable your account because of a Terms of Service violation. For example, this can happen if you post inappropriate or stolen content, ask for others’ passwords, steal credits or commit fraud.
Log in to your IMVU account and go to ‘Help Center’ from the menu. Then click on step one to start the deletion process.
First, check the email account you have associated with your IMVU account. You should have received an email with the subject “IMVU Alert: Your account has been deleted.” That email includes an Internet address that you can click to reactivate your account.
All users who have been inactive for years get their account deleted from IMVU, including their profile. However, this data still exists and they refuse to delete it.
