Unfortunately, we are unable to restore deleted accounts for any reason. You can establish a new account with the same email address you used previously if your account has been canceled.
The OkCupid platform takes into account offsite interactions with members as well. If a member is stalked, harassed, abused, threatened, assaulted, or harmed in any other way outside of the OkCupid platform, they may be suspended or banned.
We do not inform customers that they have been reported or who made the report. We also refuse to disclose why you were banned to others. We want you to feel comfortable telling us about bad actors, therefore we will not share your contact information or specifics with anybody.
If you want to dispute your suspension, you have until April 20th to send us an email. Our policy is not to inform people why they were banned since it would violate their privacy and hinder our moderation team’s ability to focus on current reports and concerns.
