I’ve tried going to the website, clicking on the “register” link, and even filling out the form on the website. But no matter how many times I try, I can’t seem to deregister my Nook. Is there a way to do this without having to go through customer service? ..
NOOK Color Hard Reset?
When an update is installed, certain files may be damaged. If you are unable to reset the device when this happens, you must erase and deregister it. Open the “Device Info” screen and choose “Erase & Deregister Device” from the drop-down menu in order to utilize the Erase and Deregister option?
