If you’re a Gmail user and have a lot of contacts, it’s important to be sure that you can easily sync them between your computer and your phone. Here are some tips on how to do this:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account and open the Accounts page.
  2. Click on the Sync button at the top of the Accounts page.
  3. Enter your phone number in the Sync fields and click on the Sync button.
  4. Your contacts will be synced up and you’ll be able to access them just as if they were on your computer!

Open your Settings app on your Android device or tablet. For Google apps, Google Contacts sync Status is under the Apps tab. Set Automatically sync to OFF.

You may use Gmail on the web, or the Android Contacts app to access your contacts. In the Contacts app, you may add individuals one at a time or group several email addresses together at once. To remove a contact, go to the contact’s three-dot menu and select ‘Delete.’

Open the Gmail app on your Android phone or tablet. Tap the Menu in the top left. Scroll down and tap Settings. Unlink your Gmail account from your other account by tapping it in the “Linked Account” area. Select whether to keep copies of emails sent from this account.

Then go to “Phone” and select “Contacts,” or directly access the Contacts app. Select “Groups” in the upper left corner, then remove any suggested contacts from the list. Go to ‘settings ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select it.

If your phone’s storage gets full, Gmail sync will not function or become frozen. To check how much space you have left on your device, go to Settings > Device care > Storage. To learn more about which file type takes the most room and where you might reduce it, delve deeper into storage area settings.
