If you’re a Spotify user, it’s likely that you’ve been using the company’s “subscription” model to keep your music library organized and accessible. But if you want to stop listening to music altogether, there are a few steps you can take in order to do so. First, open up Spotify and sign in. Then, under “Settings,” select “Subscription.” On the next screen, enter your email address and password (if any). Click on the “Create subscription” button. Now that you have a subscription for Spotify 2020, it’s time to unsubscribe. To do this, open up Spotify and sign in again. Under “Settings,” select “Subscription.” On the next screen, click on the “Unsubscribe from this account” button.

Sign in to your account. Go to your Account page after logging in. Scroll down to the Your plan section and choose Change Plan. On the next screen, scroll all the way down to the Spotify Free area and tap or click Cancel Premium.

On your iPhone, open any web browser. Go to spotify.com and sign in to your account. On the home screen, look for the Your Plan section. Select Change Plan from the drop-down menu. Look for the Spotify Free section and tap it. Tap Cancel Premium on the pop-up window that appears after making this step.

Why can’t I cancel my Spotify membership? It’s possible that you joined your Spotify subscription through a third party like iTunes or a broadband/mobile provider if you don’t see a cancellation option on your Spotify account page. If this is the case, you must contact the firm in charge of your payments.

Select the “I Want To Cancel My Account” option. Then, from the drop-down menu, choose “Close Account.” Select the “Close Account” button again. Spotify will now ask you to confirm the account’s details.

On your account page, you may see the date on which your billing will occur. You can’t modify your billing date, but you can: cancel your plan. Wait for your plan to convert to a free one in the next billing period.
