If you’re an Uber driver and have an Uber account, you may have noticed that your phone number has been removed from the app. This is because Uber is working on a new policy that forbids drivers from using their personal phone numbers to hail rides. To continue using the Uber app, you’ll need to register your phone number with the company. To do this, you’ll need to provide your name, driver’s license number, and email address. You can also create a password for your account if you want to keep it private. Once you’ve registered your phone number with Uber, you’ll be able to use it for rides and other activities on the app. However, if you ever want to stop driving for Uber or if your personal phone number gets lost or stolen, you’ll need to reregister your number with the company.

Simply download the program and log in. If you want to change your phone number, simply sign into the app or website as a driver in your profile and update the phone number. Prepare for periods of inactivity of 1 to several days while they “swap it over” for you.

You may reset your password using the app or on the web by entering “Forgot Password?” After that, simply provide your email address and an email with a reset link will be delivered to you immediately. You should then be able to login as usual.

Yes. You just have to ask for a new phone number each time you use the app. It’s only effective on the registered number listed on file. It will not accept both numbers at the same time.

If you have an outstanding payment, you will not be able to delete your Uber account. After your account is deleted, Uber may keep any information it is required or authorized by law to store. If you register again within 30 days of deactivation, your account will be reinstated.

Tap “Account & Payment” -> Select “I can’t sign in or request a ride,” then choose “I forgot my password.” Uber will send you a verification code via text message.
