If you’re like most people, you probably have a Fitbit Versa in your possession. It’s a wearable device that tracks your fitness and activity data, and it can be a great way to keep track of your progress. But if you’re not using the Versa as intended—or if it’s been damaged or lost—here are some tips on how to unpair it and use it again properly.
- Remove the battery To unpair the Versa, remove the battery by unscrewing it from the device. Be sure to do this in order to avoid any damage to the battery or its circuitry.
- Disconnect all cables Before beginning to unpair theVersa, make sure all of its cables are disconnected from each other and from any power sources (like an outlet). This will help prevent any potential fire or damage caused by electricity while unparing theVersa.
- Remove screws on back of Versa Next, remove screws on the back of theVersa in order to gain access to its internals. Be careful not to damage anything inside of the device while doing this; just unscrew everything until you reach what looks like a metal plate (it should look something like this). Once you’ve removed all of these screws, you’ll be able to see two wires coming out of it: one is black and one is green. These wires are called “power” and “data.” The green wire is connected directly to the power brick inside of your Versa, while the black wire is connected directly to an outlet (or another power source). Now that you know which wire goes where, simply disconnect both wires from their respective outlets in order to free up space for new wires!
Fitbit Versa How to Reset Back to Factory Settings
On the Versa, go to the Settings app. Scroll down and deselect Bluetooth. Select “Remove” from the drop-down menu. On the list, find the Bluetooth device you wish to remove from your watch.
Tap About on the Settings menu to open the About screen. Scroll down and tap Factory Reset. On your Fitbit Versa, press and hold Delete until a confirmation message appears. Brandon Geekabit/YouTube. Select Yes to confirm the factory reset.
To get your most recent data, manually sync your old Fitbit device to your account. To erase all app and personal information from your Fitbit device, wipe it. When the gadget is linked to a new account, all of your data will be erased. (For more information, click here.)
To restart your tracker, hold down the button or buttons for 5 seconds. The button should be released. When you see a smile symbol and the tracker vibrates, it has restarted.
A factory reset erases all previously stored information as well as any data that hasn’t been synced to your Fitbit account. It also restarts the device’s settings, notifications, goals, alarms, and so on. A restart, which is a simple reboot without the risk of data loss, simply reboots the gadget.
