LinkedIn is a great resource for finding new friends and networking. However, if you’re not using it to its fullest potential, you may be missing out on some of the opportunities that come with being a LinkedIn member. Here are three tips to help unlock your account:

  1. Join the LinkedIn Groups that interest you. There are many groups that focus on specific topics or industries, which can be a great way to connect with other professionals in your field. Plus, joining groups can give you access to exclusive content and discounts on membership fees.
  2. Use the tools that are available to you. LinkedIn offers a variety of tools to help you manage your account and connect with people. You can use these tools to find people who share your interests, view your profile for free, and more.
  3. Connect with people who matter in your field. If you’re not using LinkedIn as effectively as you could, it’s time to start! There are plenty of professionals out there who would love to hear from you and see what kind of work or life advice you have to offer them!

Even if your account was restricted for a different reason, you should remove any LinkedIn tools connected with it (such as access or log out from everything), and clear your browser’s cache.

We may delete or restrict content or an account if we determine that it breaches the Professional Community Policies or User Agreement. Your account may be restricted indefinitely depending on the seriousness of the infraction.

Select Help from the Me button at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. Select Open Help in a new tab from the dropdown menu. Click Contact us at the bottom of the Help Center page. Select Get help from us under Other on Google search. Search for a question or a subject using Other option.

A restricted account is one that has less than the required amount of equity, as mandated by Regulation T or the standards of the particular broker (if greater). After the gap has been addressed, the restriction is removed, and the user can start making purchases again.

Within 20 days, you must reapply for reactivation. LinkedIn will be unable to reopen your account after 20 days have passed. You’ll need to establish a new LinkedIn account after this time limit has elapsed.
