If you’re an Epic Games player, you know that your account is linked to your Switch. But if you want to stop using your account on the Switch, there are a few steps you can take. First, make sure that you’re logged in to your Epic Games account and have the game installed on your Switch. If not, create an Epic Games account and log in. Next, go to the “Account” tab in the main menu of your Switch and click on “Unlink my account from my switch.” This will take you to a page where you can enter your login information and password for both accounts. Once everything is set up correctly, press “Unlink my account from my switch” and your accounts will be unlinked!

A. Select “Connected Accounts” in top of page

B. Go to the Connected Accounts tab and click Disconnect on the console account you want to unlink (in this case, Switch)

After signing into your account on Epic Games’s website, select “Connected Accounts” from the options on the left. Select the “Disconnect” option below the Nintendo Switch icon.

Epic Games provides the option to login using your Nintendo account, but only if it is associated with an existing account. You should see a list of these accounts here.

Fortnite has made it possible to merge multiple accounts, meaning if you have two Fortnites on the same platform (for example, Xbox), you can link your profiles and access all of the in-game content from just one account.

From your Epic Games account page, select Connections from the left menu. Next, find Disconnect under each account you wish to disconnect and click through to confirm. You’ll be able to disconnect your Epic Games account from Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, GitHub, Twitch.
