If you have multiple contacts on your Android device, it can be difficult to keep track of which one is the primary contact. To make this process easier, you can use the “Unlink” feature of the Android app. This feature will allow you to remove one or more of your contacts from the primary contact list.

Touch the “Options” menu at the top right in the Contacts app, then touch “Manage contacts” .Under that tab is an option to Linked contacts – tap on this and you can choose which social media accounts to autoconnect or manually link them .

Open the “Contacts” app and navigate to Account Settings. Uncheck Google as a linked account

Duplicating contact info is very common and can happen when you sync contacts from multiple sources.

A Linked Contact is a way to link one contact to another. To do this, open any relevant contact and scroll down until you see the section labeled “Linked Contacts.” Tap the Add Link Contact button and then search for your desired contact–or just enter its name or email address in the text field provided.
