If you’re a Gmail user, you may have noticed that some of your apps have been removed from the platform. This is because Google is moving away from its traditional app model and instead is focusing on its own Google Now service. To keep your apps working, you’ll need to uninstall them and re-install them using the Google App Installer. Once you’ve done that, you can finally use them again by linking them back to your Gmail account. Here’s how:
- Open Gmail and sign in.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the three lines that look like a triangle). This will take you to a page where you can select which apps you want to link back to your account. You can choose between apps such as YouTube, Maps, Calendar, and more. 3) Click on the blue arrow next to an app name and it will take you to a page where you can add it back into your account. 4) Once added, click on the blue arrow next to the app name again and it will take you back to the page where you linked it back before.
