Nintendo account linking is a process that allows players to connect their Nintendo account with other accounts. This process is necessary in order to play online games and access features of the Nintendo Switch. If you are not familiar with this process, we recommend that you read our guide on how to link your Nintendo account. Once you have linked your Nintendo account, all of your games and content will be accessible from any computer or device that has an internet connection. You can also use your Nintendo account to log into other accounts on the web or in-game. If you lose yourNintendo account or if it is stolen, please contact customer service so they can help you reconnect with all of your content and games.

If you unlink an existing account , a new one must be created in order to use any Nintendo services requiring an account. During sign-up for Miitomo , if you unlink your Nintendo Account, you’ll lose all of your user data and cannot regain it once unlinked.
Once unlinked , users will not be able to:

Once unlinked, users will not be able to: Sign into the eShop or purchase content from Nintendo using that account’s payment method Unsubscribe from email notifications Receive exclusive offers Receive updates about new products Users with unlinked accounts will still be able to play games they already own , but may not receive certain communications related to the software. Also, unlinked accounts will only be able to use the Nintendo Switch Online app until unlinked.
To release your console from a Nintendo Account, click “Nintendo Accounts” in the upper-left corner of the screen and select “Parental Controls.” Select the account for which you would like to stop managing this console. You will then be prompted to confirm that you wish to stop managing that account by selecting “Stop Managing This Console.”
To change your primary console, you first need to deregister the current one from your Nintendo Account.
If you are unable to reactivate your Nintendo account, it has been over 30 days since deletion. After 30 days the account is permanently deleted from our files and we are unable to restore the file or any associated funds.
Thanks in advance! You seem to be asking two separate questions. To deregister your console on the eShop, log into your account and locate the “view/change user details” tab. This does not involve deleting a user profile from the Switch home screen nor unlinking your NNID account.
Log in to your Nintendo Account (that is authorized for downloading games). Select “Account Settings” on the eshop menu and select “deactivate console.” Connect to the internet with the Switch that you want designated as your primary console.
Your Nintendo Account can be linked with more than one Switch console and you can play your games on any of them. You’ll need to create a primary system, though.
