If you’re like most people, you probably use Google accounts for different purposes. You might have one for work, one for your personal life, and one for your school account. But what if you want to use a different account for something else? For example, if you’re a student and want to use your work account at home, you can’t do that. You need to switch Google accounts on your Android phone. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Google app on your phone and sign in with your work or personal Google account.
  2. Click the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Accounts.”
  3. In the Accounts section, select “New Account.” If you’ve already created a new Google account on your phone, this won’t change anything; just select “New Account” instead of “Accounts.”
  4. Enter a name for your new account and click “Create.” The app will ask you to enter some basic information about yourself such as your email address and password. Don’t worry; these details won’t be used to access your old accounts anymore.
  5. Click “Create Account” again and confirm the information by clicking on the green checkmark next to it. The app will create an instance of your new Google account and start working immediately!
