If you have a Jio phone, it is best to return it within 3 years. If you don’t have a Jio phone, then you can still use the service but you will need to pay for a new one. To return your Jio phone, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Jio website and sign in with your account information.
  2. Choose the “Return my phone” option on the main page.
  3. Follow the instructions on the page to complete the process and receive your new phone back within a few weeks.

If you return your phone after three years, Reliance Jio will reimburse the whole deposit. In addition to this, Reliance Jio has imposed a number of restrictions for utilizing the JioPhone. Every year for the next three years, a user must obtain at least Rs 1500 worth of voucher recharges.

The Company shall be entitled to make repairs, replacement of parts not covered by warranty, and other maintenance on payment of charges as specified by the Company from time to time.

The Jio Phone’s warranty is one year from the date of delivery for the phone, and six months for the charger.

The deposit for equipment and advances towards installation services is one-time refundable. Refundable only if service is terminated within the 30-day trial period, upon return of devices in good working order.

Go to Jio’s official website. Log in using your account details to check your account information. To see a settings page, click the blue gear symbol. Choose Suspend & Resume from the drop-down menu and provide a valid reason for suspension or resumption.
