If you’re like most Wattpad users, you probably have a few stories saved on the platform that you never got around to publishing. Maybe you were waiting for the perfect moment or maybe you just didn’t have time. But whatever the reason, it’s time to get your Wattpad stories published! Here are a few tips on how to reset your account and get started publishing again:

  1. Make sure your Wattpad account is current. If your account is more than 30 days old, it will need to be reset and all of your stories will be deleted.
  2. Choose a story that you’re excited about publishing. This will help motivate you to get started and make sure that the story is high quality.
  3. Choose a story that’s relevant to your audience. If you’re writing about something that isn’t relevant to your audience, they may not find it interesting or engaging enough to read.
  4. Choose a story that’s appropriate for your audience’s age group and content rating level (G). Stories with mature content or those rated G may not be suitable for younger audiences or those who want family-friendly content. ..

Simply log in using the credentials provided above to any platform. After that, Wattpad will send you an email with the subject “Your Wattpad account was successfully restored.”

Click on your username in the upper right-hand corner. Select Settings from the drop-down menu. scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Settings. Click Close Account on the right-hand side. Fill in the required information as accurately as possible. check the Yes, I’m sure checkbox at the bottom of this page

It’s possible that the email on your previous account has already been linked to an active Wattpad account. If you get a password reset message, this is because the email address is connected to a current account. Please keep in mind that you can only have one active account using the same email address!

Forgot your password? If you can’t log in to the email address you used to sign up, contact the service provider. Please write to your email service provider if you’ve forgotten your password and can’t access the email account used to create it.

Wattpad’s terms of service and community guidelines are clear, yet the deletion or removal of inactive accounts on the site is not addressed. The only grounds for account cancellation appear to be a breach of the company’s Code of Conduct or Terms of Service.
