If you’re one of the millions of gamers who have taken to GTA Online to indulge in all the action and excitement that comes with being a part of one of the most popular online games on the planet, then you may be wondering how to reset your account. There are a few different ways to do this, but we’ll give you a few tips on how to do it in the easiest way possible.
- Log into your account and click on “My Account” in the top left corner of the screen. This will take you to your personal settings page.
- Scroll down until you find “Reset Password.” This will take you to a page where you can enter your old password and click on “Reset.”

When installing GTA V, it creates temporary files and configurations that you may simply delete to help with some of the launch issues. Simply press the “WINDOWS” key and “R” at the same time and input %appdata% into your browser.
The process for deleting saved data on different platforms is similar to that noted in the guide above. Go to Pause Menu > Game > Load Game, then choose the save file. The game encourages players to play together in order for the teams to increase their ranks. Once, you’ve completed a campaign, go offline and down on the swap character from the online menu. After you’ve verified that a character has been swapped, you’ll be brought back into the standard game where you’ll select the next figure.
