If you’re unhappy with your Uber experience, there are a few things you can do to get your number removed. First, sign in to your account and click on the “My Account” tab. Under “Settings,” find “Account Settings” and click on it. Under “Account Settings,” find “Number Removal.” On the page that pops up, select the reason you want to remove your number and click on the “Remove My Number” button. If you’d like to continue using Uber but would like to avoid having your number associated with your account, you can create a new account and request that your old number be removed. ..


If you have an outstanding payment, you will not be able to cancel your Uber account. Please make a payment before deleting your account. Your account will be immediately deactivated after you delete it. It will be permanently deleted after 30 days, and any unused credits, offers, or rewards will be removed.

You’d just download the app on your new phone and log in using your current Uber account details, as long as they’re still valid. That sort of information isn’t saved to your smartphone.
