If you’re a Google user on a Mac, there’s a good chance that you have your account set up so that Safari can access your Google search results. If you don’t want Safari to access your search results, there are a few steps you can take to remove your account from Safari.
- Open Safari and sign in with your Google account.
- Click the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select " Preferences."
- In the “Preferences” window, click on the “Search” tab and then click on the “Remove Account” button.
- Enter your email address in the “Email Address” field and click on the “Remove Account” button again.
Open the settings of your phone. Open your settings application. Select the account you wish to delete. Delete the selected account by clicking “Remove Account.” To remove an account, tap “Remove Account” until it is no longer activated.
Go to Google’s Data & Personalization page. Select “Delete a service or your account” from the drop-down menu next to “Download, detele, or make a plan for your data.”
Open the Gmail app on your Android smartphone and tap the Google Profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select “Manage Accounts on This Device” from the drop-down menu. In Settings, go to Account > Accounts. Tap the Gmail account you want to log out of.
To delete a Google account from Chrome, go to the profile card’s settings menu in the upper-right corner and choose Manage Accounts. Select Remove This Person from the drop-down menu that appears. Once you’ve chosen it, your Google account linked to your Chrome profile will be removed.
From the top-right corner of the user profile, click the options icon. Remove the Gmail account from Chrome now by clicking “Delete This Person.” You’ll receive a confirmation message, then select “Remove This Person” again.
