If you’ve ever deleted your Instagram account, you know how difficult it is to get it back. But if you’re like most people, you probably don’t know how to remove your email from the account. Here’s how:
- Log into your Instagram account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will take you to a menu where you can select “Settings.”
- In the “Settings” menu, select “Email.”
- Click on the “Delete Email” button and confirm your deletion by clicking on the “Delete” button again. Your email will be gone and you’ll need to re-enter it if you want to keep it.
Tap Delete Account to remove your account from the Site. Go to your profile and choose Delete Account. Select Settings from the drop-down menu. Choose Account from the menu bar at the top of your screen.
You don’t have to deactivate your account in order to modify your username or email address; you may do so at any time in your account settings. If you want to create a new profile with the same username or email address, you must do it before deactivating your old one.
Stop by the “Delete Your Account” page and follow the on-screen instructions. Select one of the options from the drop-down menu next to the query “Why are you deleting your account?” You must choose one. A “Permanently Remove My Account” tab will appear once you select a reason. And, after you’ve confirmed you.
Open the Settings app. Tap Apps at the top of the screen (this may also be referred to as Apps & Notifications or Application Manager, depending on your device and Android version). Locate Instagram from among the applications and tap it. Select Storage from the drop-down menu. Choose one of the Clear storage or Clear data options.
You can’t have multiple Instagram accounts with the same email address. If you create a second Instagram account using the app, you may use your phone number rather than your email address to register.
