If you’re like most iPhone users, you probably use the email app YouMail. But if you want to remove it from your device, here’s how to do it.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and scroll down to “Mail.”
- Tap on “YouMail” and then tap on “Remove.”
- If you have any messages in your YouMail inbox, they’ll be automatically moved to your default email account. ..
Open the Settings menu in the bottom right of the screen. Tap on Other. Scroll down to YouMail and tap it. Under Are you sure you want to turn off Voicemail, select Yes: Remove from phone.
How to remove YouMail from iPhone?
You can un-install YouMail easily from your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Applications (tab) then swipe YouMail and tap Delete. YouMail is automatically removed after you have deleted YouMail from your iPhone. You can also remove YouMail by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store (tab) then swipe YouMail and tap Delete.
If You want to save your inboxes, call logs or voicemails before uninstalling YouMail, please follow the steps below:
Open YouMail and go to Settings (tab) > Call Logs, Voicemails & Inbox select Save. YouMail will create a backup file and ask if you want to save the existing YouMail installation. You can also use iTunes to back up YouMail database before uninstalling YouMail from iPhone.
Remember that once You have uninstalled YouMail, you cannot recover anything or restore your iPhone back to factory settings as this would erase all content including call logs, voicemails etc…
If you want to get rid of YouMail permanently without having any trace of it on your iPhone, please consider selling or give away your device in person versus using an online auction site such as eBay or Craigslist. If you choose to sell YouMail on eBay or Craigslist, please make sure to remove YouMail from your iPhone before selling it.
If you choose to uninstall YouMail from your iPhone by wiping its memory, the YouMail application and inboxes cannot be recovered later. You will have no access to call logs, voicemails and inboxes. You can however restore YouMail database back into a fresh new installation using iTunes backup or iCloud backup (if applicable). You can also restore YouMail database from iTunes backup into YouMail 2 for Mac. You can use the YouMail Extra Line for business purposes, setting up a unique greeting for it, or keep your privacy by giving out an address rather than your personal phone number.
It may just mean that the person is engaging in a phone conversation, has their phone turned off, or they sent your call to voicemail.

If you get a message that’s not delivered or doesn’t show up at all, it may be an indication of your contact blocking you. Continuing this idea by making phone calls to the person in question is also important because if they don’t accept the call and it goes straight to voicemail, that could potentially indicate that a block has occurred.
If an Android user blocks you, your text messages go through as usual.
