If you’re like most people, you probably have at least one Fitbit device sitting around collecting dust. If you’re like me, it’s time to get a new one. But how do you delete your old Fitbit and add a new one? There are a few different ways to do this, but the easiest way is to go to the Fitbit website and sign in. Then, under “My Account,” click on “Delete Device.” This will take you to a page where you can choose which device to delete. If you’ve been using your old device for awhile and it’s been showing low battery levels, it might be best to choose the option that says “Keep Device.” This will keep your old device around until it’s either replaced or until it runs out of battery power. If you’ve just got a new Fitbit and don’t want to lose any data or settings, then go with the option that says “Add New Device.” This will add a new Fitbit into your account so that you can start tracking your new fitness journey right away!
To remove your Fitbit data, log into the Fitbit app and go to Settings Accounts Delete Account. You can do all of the following activities without deleting your Fitbit account Connect a new or replacement Fitbit device.
Update your Fitbit app. nChoose “Set Up a New Fitbit Device” from the Account menu in the Fitbit mobile app or Fitbit Connect to begin. Follow the prompts to finish setup, then swap them out.
Open the Fitbit app and go to the bottom left corner. Select your account icon in the top left corner. Scroll down until you see “Manage Data,” then choose it. Tap on “Delete Account.” Again, tap on Delete Account.
If you’re still having difficulties syncing your Fitbit device, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. If your Fitbit gadget isn’t syncing despite the fact that you’ve removed all other Fitbit accessories from your account and deleted any connected Bluetooth devices from your phone, sync again.
Open the Fitbit Connect app and click the name of your computer’s local network. Select Set Up A New Fitbit Device from the drop-down menu. Log in to your account by selecting Existing User. Choose the appropriate gadget and follow the on-screen directions.
