If you’re like most people, you probably don’t use MySpace anymore. But if you do have an account, it’s probably worth deleting it. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to your MySpace account.
  2. Click on the “Profile” link in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Under “Settings,” click on the “Delete My Account” button.
  4. Enter your password and click on the “Delete My Account” button again to confirm your decision. ..

Delete your account by clicking the blue button labeled “Delete Account.” Select a reason for termination. ‘Click here to delete my account.’

If you forget the email address you used to register with Myspace, you can use your Username to access your account. You’ll need to supply a password. If you can’t remember your password, try Forgot Password, which will send an email to the email address we have on file for the Username you entered.

According to reports, the company is blaming a faulty server migration for the mass deletion, which appears to have happened more than a year ago, when people were losing access to previous content. The site has also accidentally deleted pictures and videos from its servers due to other items stored there.

Myspace is still very much alive, although it has largely moved away from social networking and become a curated music and entertainment platform. The site now has over 7 million monthly visits, according to its website.
