If you’re feeling like you’ve had enough of online dating, there’s one easy way to delete your Match profile: just go to match.com/profile/delete and confirm your decision. If you’re not sure whether or not you want to delete your account, consider these five reasons why it might be a good idea:
- You’re not interested in dating anymore
- You’ve found someone else you’re interested in
- You don’t think the person you matched with is a good match for you
- You changed your mind about wanting to date online
- You just don’t want to be on Match anymore ..
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of any Match page to go to the “My account settings” area. Click “Suspend my account” on the left side under ” Help.” Then, click “Click here to delete your account.
What happens if my profile is deleted? You will get a notification email. Within 24 hours, your profile will be removed from the website, and you will no longer receive notifications from us. Your profile data will be saved, but other users won’t be able to see it anymore.
To cancel your Match subscription, open the Google Play Store app, go to Menu Account and select Subscription from the menu panel that slides out. Tap on Subscription to display all of your subscriptions. Locate and click on Match. Finally, confirm your selection by tapping Yes.
Open the Match app from your device’s home screen. Select the menu button (three vertical lines). Settings should be selected. Tap Hidden under the “Profile Visibility” heading. Open the Google Play Store app from your home screen.
All transactions, according to Match.com’s Terms and Conditions, are non-refundable. If you want to cancel your subscription before it renews, you must do so three days beforehand.
