If you’re looking to delete your Match account on the app, here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Match app and sign in.
  2. Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Under “My Account,” tap on “Delete Account.”
  4. If you want to keep any of your Match data (including matches, messages, and profiles), tap on “Keep Data.” Otherwise, tap on “Delete All Data.” ..

You will not be able to reactivate your account after you have deleted it. If you need to reactivate, please contact Member Services at 1-800-263-6191 or [email protected] for assistance.

How do I delete my profile from the website?

If you are a Member, you can delete your Match.com account by signing in to the websiteYou will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete your Match account. Once deleted, all associated email addresses and phone numbers for that account will be removed from our system, although they may remain on our servers until we purge them. Your photos or videos will not be deleted unless we are unable to match them with a current member profile in good standing; however, they will no longer be visible on Match.com once you have deleted your account and sign out of the site, as well as in search results on the web or mobile apps if we are unable to match them with a current member profile in good standing.

Once your account has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please note that you will not be able to reactivate your account after deletion. You will not be able to add any additional photos or videos once your account is deleted; however, any photos and/or videos already published will remain visible on the site until they expire from our system (usually 6 months). If you have forgotten the password to your Match account, click on the “Forgot your Password?” link when you log in. You will be prompted to answer your secret question(s) and contact information so that we can send an email with a temporary password for your account. We recommend that you create an alternative way for receiving secure communications from Match (such as registering another email address or a mobile phone number) in case your usual contact information is not accessible.

To suspend or delete your account, hover over the avatar in the top right corner of any Match.com page and click on “My Account Settings”. Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage and you will see a link that reads “To suspend or delete your account, click here”; choose which option applies to you.

Launch Settings on your iPhone.Tap Current Subscriptions at the top of the list to see any active account charges.To cancel your Match.com subscription, find Match.com in the list and tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen., then select Confirm if prompted in a pop-up window when you first cancel.

To cancel your membership, head to the account settings and click Change/Cancel Membership. From there, follow the steps listed on the screen until you reach the option to Cancel Membership or Remove profile.

Open the Google Play Store on your device.Select Account from the menu, then Subscriptions.Select Match.com from the list and press Cancel to cancel your subscription service.

If your profile is suspended, you’ll get an email confirming that and it will be removed from the site within 24 hours. Your profile information is kept on file but other members won’t be able to view it.
