If you’re like most people, you probably use your phone to access your email and other online accounts. But there are a few things you can do to delete your account on your phone if you want to:

  1. Open the Mail app and sign in.
  2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select “Delete account.”
  3. Type in your email address and password, and hit “delete.”

Open your Gmail account on Google.com. nClick the grid symbol in the upper right corner and choose “Account.” under the “Account preferences” heading, pick “Delete your account or services.” Pick “Delete products.” You’ll be asked to confirm your password.

Delete messages from your Google account by going to Gmail on the web. To delete individual emails, go to Gmail for Android. Go to Settings > Accounts & privacy. On Android, you may also delete your email account using a web browser like Chrome, but deleting it on the PC is more convenient.
