If you’re looking for a new job, it’s important to have an account on Indeed.com and other job search websites. But if you’ve been unemployed for a while and want to delete your account, here are some tips:
- Log in to your account and click the “delete job search” link at the top of the page.
- Select the date you want to delete your account, and enter a reason for why you’re deleting it. For example, if you’ve been unemployed for a while and don’t want to keep track of your unemployment numbers, select “unemployed.”
- Click “delete job search.” You’ll be asked to confirm deletion before leaving the page.
Once you’ve logged in, go to the bottom of the left-hand column and click Username & Password. Read the warning and click the Delete Account option in the pop-up box. You will receive an email notifying you when your account will be removed.
To cancel your account, please call us at 855-813-0288 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. PST Monday through Sunday. To avoid any surprise charges.
You can’t remove your own profile; you must only change information. This is incredible, and it goes against international data protection laws. So I advise anybody who resides outside the United States not to apply for work at Apple until their website has been updated. Anything with an “edit” link beside it may be edited.
To delete your account, go to the settings page and scroll down until you find the “Delete Account” button. Your account and profile will be permanently erased in up to 72 hours if you click “Delete Account.” You have until midnight on that day to cancel your request.
On your LinkedIn homepage, click the Me symbol in the top right corner. Click Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu. Select Change next to Close account from the Account management section of the Account preferences area. Choose a reason for closing your account and click Next.
Open Indeed by clicking here. If you’re already signed in, going to the main page will take you there. On the top right, click my account. My account has been closed. Click close my account again. To confirm your choice, click ok.
