If you have an iPhone, there are a few ways to delete your Hotmail account from your phone.
- Open the Hotmail app and sign in.
- Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select “Delete account.”
- Type in your email address and password and hit “Delete.”
Open the settings app on your phone. Select Accounts from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen. If you don’t see ‘Accounts’, switch to Users and accounts instead. Delete the account.
Go to Settings. Swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings gear icon. Tap Accounts. Scroll down and locate Accounts. Select an account to be deleted. Find More Options. Select More from the dropdown menu. Remove Account is the last step in this process… Confirm Account Removal is next on our list.
Touch the Action Overflow symbol and select the Settings command. Select an e-mail account. Choose the Incoming Settings option. Select Delete Email from Server when you choose When I Delete from Inbox under Delete Email from Server. Touch the Done button to finish.
When your account is closed, any credits on it will be lost. To view your Microsoft and Xbox account balances, go to this link. This page allows you to cancel any credit cards in your account as well. After submitting the request, it will take 60 days for you to close your email address.
