If you’re a Gmail user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the Delete button. It’s one of the most common ways to remove yourself from an account, and it’s also one of the easiest. But what if you don’t have your laptop with you? What if you’re on a plane or in another location where deleting your account would be difficult or impossible? In that case, here are three tips on how to delete your Gmail account from your laptop:

  1. Log into your Gmail account and click on the “Delete Account” button at the top left corner of the main screen. This will take you to a confirmation page that asks for your password. If you don’t have a password, enter it now and click on “Confirm deletion.”
  2. Type “gmail” into the address bar of your computer and hit ENTER. You’ll now see a message telling you that there are some problems with your account and that it might take some time for them to fix them. Click on “I’m sorry, but I can’t delete my account at this time.”
  3. Click on “I’m sorry, but I can’t delete my account.” You’ll now see a message telling you that there are some problems with your account and that it might take some time for them to fix them. Click on “I’m sorry, but I can’t delete my account.”

To delete a user account, follow these steps: Click the person’s name in the left-hand column. Then click Manage People in the upper right corner of Chrome. Select a user profile and then click Options from the top right corner. Remove your Gmail account from chrome, then choose “Delete This Person.”

Open Settings and click your Windows Mail app. On the left side, find the account you wish to delete. Right-click on the account and select Account Settings from the menu that appears. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu.

Go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts. Select the account you want to delete, then hit Remove. Confirm your selections by selecting Yes.

To delete an account, sign out of it and then remove it. Select the accounts drop-down menu (upper right). Click the account you want to log out of. You’ll see overlaid choices for Remove or Sign In; pick Remove.
