If you’re a care.com customer, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the company’s deletion policy. If not, here’s a quick overview: If you’re not happy with your care.com experience, you can delete your account within 30 days of receipt of your order. If you have an account with care.com and want to cancel it, you’ll need to provide your original order number and the reason for cancellation in a support ticket or on the care.com website. There are some exceptions to this policy: if you’ve been using care.com for more than 12 months and have not made any changes to your account or ordered anything new, then your account will remain active and unaffected by this deletion policy. If, however, you’ve made changes to your account or ordered something new and haven’t received it yet, then please contact our customer service team so that we can help process the order for you!


Log in to your Care.com account from a computer. From the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of your account page, choose “Settings & Privacy.” Scroll down and select the “Close Account” option. Fill out the following information, then click “Continue.” select a reason for closing your account from the drop-down

Click the “Account and Settings” link on the Top Right of any Care.com page. Scroll down to the “Membership Information” section and click the “Close Account” button. Select a reason for closing your account, then press the “No thanks, cancel my membership” option.
