If you have a care account with the NHS, it’s important to be sure you can delete it if you no longer need it. The app has a Delete Care Account button, so you can easily remove your account from the system.

Click “Account and Settings” from the homepage of the Care. com app on your phone. Scroll to “Membership Information” and click “Close Account. ”A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm whether or not you want to cancel your account, just press No thanks, cancel my membership button then select a reason for why you are closing your account.

How to delete care account the app

The care account on the app is not a care account in the traditional care.com sense, it simply links your care profile to your care account profile. You can do everything without a care account; you only need one if you want more options (if you have more than 10 carers for example or if you are looking for carers) or if someone else has logged on over your care account and chosen default choice over things like meal choices – but as long as that person hasn’t signed out, then those defaults will remain).

You will see care account mentioned in carers search which is kind of confusing, but this is what carers can choose over carer profiles.

You are very welcome to delete your care account once you have switched it off if you would rather not be found via care accounts link – but again all the functionality and features remain if you leave care account switched on for the people who use accounts (it’s really just a profile switcher).

Log into the app – go to settings – profiles- click edit next to your name. Scroll down until you see care account drop down list and switch care account off (by clicking it). If there is a care account set up, then click on more information at bottom of page which will take you to care accounts page where if you want delete that care account as well (care accounts may still be visible in search etc even though they are switched off) Once you have deleted your care accounts, make sure email address linked to these is also removed via settings- emails etc so no one who had accessed our care care account can potentially access our care email etc.

To hide a service log into your account and click on the Account & Services tab on the left hand side of your account. Scroll down to My Services and click on Hide/Show Service link near the top under Your Accounts.

If you want to close your account, click the “Account and Settings” button on the website. In the Membership Information section, choose “Close Account.” Select a reason for why. Finish by clicking Continue.

Care.com has additional background checks tools so you can make sure your loved ones will be in good hands when you’re out.

Care.com does not do refunds, but you can stop your subscription before the next billing cycle starts. To unsubscribe from the service go to ‘Account & Settings’ and select to cancel your membership.

From the drop-down menu on the top right of your account page, click “Account Settings.” Scroll down to Membership Information and select the “Close Account” link. Select a reason for closure from the drop-down menu and then click “Continue.”

If you are logging into care.com, proceed to Account Settings. Then select Close Account and provide the reason for closing your account.”

The account deletion process is relatively straightforward, but it takes just a few more steps than needed. Log in to your account and then head over to “Manage” from the drop-down menu under your user name. Then click on “Manage Account” and finally “Delete Account.” It will then ask you why you want to delete your account before allowing you to do so.
