If you’re a Snapchat user, there’s a good chance you’ve deleted your account in the past. But if you’re having trouble deleting your account, here’s how to do it:
- Log into your Snapchat account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will take you to your settings.
- Scroll down and click on the “delete my account” button.
- Your Snapchat account will be deleted and you’ll need to create a new one if you want to continue using it.
There’s a search box on the top right of the page. Select the first option that appears and type in ‘delete,’ as this should be Delete my account. It is necessary to press it.
The procedure is simple. Simply go to the Settings menu and select “Delete Account.” Fill out your information, and then confirm that you want to permanently deactivate your account. You may also remove your profile on a smartphone by clicking on your avatar and then selecting “Settings.”
Open the App Store. Tapping your profile image in the upper right will take you to your Account page. Scroll down to view your list of app updates. Slide an app tile to the left, revealing a Remove button on the right. Tap Delete.
Snapchat will remove the accounts of users who break their terms of service. Despite the fact that Snapchat is not deleting dormant accounts, it will do so for reasons other than this. Any violation of Snapchat’s rules that users agree to when they sign up for it, such as illegal activity or abuse, will result in the closure of their account.
Delete your Snapchat account in 3 easy steps. To remove a specific account, go to the accounts portal and input the username and password for the user you wish to cancel. (Save this information in case you change your mind and want to reactivate your account.) After following these procedures, your account will be disabled for 30 days.
