Xbox 360 users have two ways to delete their accounts: through the Xbox 360 dashboard or by using the Xbox Live account management tool. To delete an account through the Xbox 360 dashboard, go to Settings > Accounts and select your account. Under “Delete Account,” select “Yes, I want to delete this account.” To use the Xbox Live account management tool, go to xbox.com/accounts and sign in. Under “My Profile,” select “Delete Account.” You’ll be asked to confirm your decision before your account is deleted. ..

To remove everything, turn the system off and then back on. Then press the Y button on the controller to select your local system drive from the menu. Select Format and confirm that you want to delete all of your content under “Device Options.” You’ll be requested to restart the console once more after that.

Choose Settings System on the Xbox dashboard. Select Storage from the menu. Choose Device Options by pushing Y on your controller to highlight your Hard Drive or Memory Unit. The format is the fourth option, which you should choose if you’re ready to lose everything on your device. You will be informed that all of your data will be erased before you confirm this.

Please follow these steps to reset your Xbox One. On your Xbox One console, go to Settings System Console info. Select Console information from the drop-down menu. Go to the Reset console button and choose the Reset and remove everything option. This will completely erase your device to its factory settings.

To access the Power Center, press and hold the Xbox button on your Xbox controller. To restart the console, go to step two. Select Restart console. Select Restart from the options menu.

The Xbox One will switch off. Turn on the Xbox One again. You’ll see a green start-up screen if everything goes well. The cache will be erased, and settings may reset.
