If you want to delete used stock from your tally account, there are a few different ways to go about it. The Delete Stock Group command (ALT+D) can be used to remove a stock group. The following is a list of reasons for deleting stock groups: You cannot delete a stock group if it is utilized by any subgroups or stock items because it isn’t defined in the setup file.

Go to the Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. Select a group from the List of Groups. Click D: Delete. Confirm by clicking Yes.

Can I remove groups in tally? Only on the Single Group Change Screen and not at multiple group change screens may the Group Delete function be performed. Open Accounts information, select Groups, click Alter or Use Hot Key Combination A from the keyboard.
