If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of emails cluttering up your inbox. But if you’re like me, deleting them all can be a challenge. There are a few ways to delete emails from your iPhone, but the easiest way is to use the “Delete” button in the bottom left corner of your screen. But if you don’t have that button or if you want to be more careful about how you delete emails, here are some tips on how to delete thousands of them from your iPhone:
- Start by deleting all of the email addresses and folders that contain those emails. This will help make sure that any new emails won’t get added to your inbox again.
- Delete any attachments that were included with those emails. This will also help make sure that any new emails won’t get added to your inbox again.
- If you’ve received an email notification for an email that has already been deleted, open it and click on the “Delete” button at the bottom left corner of the screen. This will take you to a confirmation page where you’ll need to confirm whether or not you want to delete the email permanently. After clicking on “Delete,” all of the deleted emails will be sent back into storage and they won’t show up in your Inbox again until next time someone tries to send an email from that address (or until they manually add it back in).
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to cut them right away. Instead of a nifty button, you’ll have to press and hold the Shift key instead of clicking it. Click the first email, keep holding down Shift, click the last email, and then hit Delete.
Samsung users benefit from having a powerful email application on their Android phones, which allows them to erase all emails with ease. Here’s what you need to do: Open the Email app. Find the folder in which you wish to remove the messages.
To get rid of all emails on Gmail, select “Select all” before “Select all conversations.” For mass deletion, use your search bar to bring up any read emails, unread emails, or messages from a particular sender. If you delete an email by mistake, you may retrieve it from the Trash folder within 30 days.
