If you’re like most people, you use Gmail on your iPad to keep your contact list organized and easy to access. But if you’re like me, you also use Gmail on your iPad to store and manage your email. There are a few ways to delete emails from Gmail on an iPad. The first way is to open the Gmail app and click the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. Then select “Delete this email.” The second way is to open the “Gmail for iPad” app and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. Then select “Delete this email.” The third way is to open “Gmail for iPhone” and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. Then select “Delete this email.”


Select the emails you want to delete by tapping Edit in the upper-right corner, then individually selecting them or tapping Select All. Trash or Archive should be selected. If only Trash is visible, touch and hold down on it to see additional choices such as Trash Selected Messages.

Open the folder where you wish to remove your emails. To choose email messages, double-tap on them. Decide whether to archive, delete or mark as reading/unread after you’ve selected all of your emails.

In the Gmail app for Android, open the folder that contains the emails you want to delete. To select an email, tap or long-press it. In the upper-right corner of the screen, tap the Delete icon.

Open Gmail on your computer. The Gmail app can’t remove all of the emails on your device. Check the box next to everything on the page at the top left. You may also choose Select all conversations if you have more than 25 messages. Click Delete.

We’ll start by telling you how to create and send emails. To get started, log into your Gmail inbox as usual. Select all of the messages. Check a little box under the search bar to select all shown communications. Select all conversations. Delete all of the emails. Trash must be emptied.
