Instagram is a social media platform that allows users to share and connect with friends and family. However, if you have forgotten your account password or if someone has hacked your account, you may be at risk of losing all of your posts and photos. To delete remembered accounts on Instagram, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Instagram account.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. This will take you to a menu where you can select “Accounts.”
  3. Scroll down until you find the “Deleting” tab.
  4. Click on the “Delete” button next to the account name that you want to delete. This will take you to a confirmation page that will ask for your password and other information about how to protect your account from future attacks. If everything goes according to plan, you should be able to delete your account within minutes!

Tap the icon on your home screen. Select Settings under the options for accounts and privacy in the left sidebar menu. Under Logins. Tap Add account or Log out if you have an existing login information saved to that account’s profile or email address you wish to remove access from accessing social media accounts linked with your phone number instead of a username and password combination. Below “Log out,” it will list all other apps associated with this device are currently signed into [name].

To turn sync off, tap your profile in the bottom right and then swipe to go to settings. Tap account on top of the screen, then tap contacts syncing. After about one minute or when all contacts are downloaded by Contacts+, you will notice a check mark next to connect contacts. Simply uncheck this option for no contact syncing with Facebook (unless you want it).Then, click disconnect.
