If you’re like most people, you probably use Google to search for information about a variety of topics. But there’s a new way to search on Google that can save you time and hassle. To delete recent searches on Google, open the Google Chrome browser and type “chrome://flags/enable-recent-search.” Then click on the “enable” button.


To turn off recent searches, go to the Google settings page and scroll down until you see Search. Now under Privacy & accounts, untick the box beside Show recent searches.

In Chrome, hold Ctrl and H at the same time. Then let go when you’ve highlighted the history entries you wish to delete. Go to a website with your browsing history by doing this in Chrome. Then, beneath the Delete button at the top, pick any of your recent searches or visits from the little boxes beside it.

Click the Clear Browsing History button. Click it to clear your browsing history. As a result, the following items are deleted from the History page: Web addresses you’ve visited are removed from the History page. Shortcuts to those pages are no longer available on the New Tab page. The addresses of those websites aren’t displayed in the Address bar

Open a browser on your Android phone or tablet, such as Chrome. or Firefox. Go to google.com. Tap Menu in the upper left corner. Settings should be selected. Under “Autocomplete with popular searches,” choose Don’t show popular queries.
