If you want to delete pictures from your Google account, there are a few different ways to go about it. The first way is to use the Google Photos app on your phone or computer. Open the app and select the photos you want to delete. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select “Delete photo.” If you don’t have a Google Photos app, you can also delete pictures from your Google account by going to google.com/photos and clicking on the “Delete photo” button next to each picture. The second way is to use Google’s online deletion tool. Go to google.com/accounts/manage and sign in with your Google account information. Under “Photos, videos, and documents,” click on the “Photos” tab. Select all of the photos you want to delete and click on the “Delete photos” button at the bottom of the page. The third way is to use Google’s online storage manager tool. Go to google Drive and sign in with your Google account information. Under “My files,” click on the “Manage files” button next to each file that you want to delete (you can only delete files that are stored in Drive). You may safely erase your photos from your phone once they’ve all been uploaded to Google Photos. To stay safe, use the Google Photos app’s Free Up Space function. That’s the safest method of removing images from your phone. Any pictures that haven’t been backed up yet will be there on your device.

Delete from within your Google Photos App, for pictures stored to Google Photos after being taken on your phone, if you just Trash them, for example, the photos will be deleted from the cloud as well and will no longer be accessible in Google Photos unless restored from the Trash within 60 days of recovery.

The Google Photos application must be downloaded and installed on your Android device. On your phone, videos and photographs that are less than 30 days old may be kept. They’ll still be saved in your Google Photos collection.

Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone or tablet. Choose one or more photos from the device. In the top right corner, click the dots” menu symbol. Select Delete Device Copy from the drop-down menu.

On your Android device, open the Settings menu. Select the Apps option from the app drawer. Select Google Photos from the list of applications. if you have enabled storage for photos in Google Photos, switch off Allow storage for photos by switching the button to OFF.
