If you have a Google account, you can delete photos from your account by going to the Google Photos website and clicking on the “Delete photos” button.


Uninstalling Google Photos or any other gallery software isn’t always a good idea. Uninstall them and restart the phone after removing them. Then, from the Play Store, reinstall it. Learn how to check for Android and iPhone app updates.

In the upper right corner, tap your user profile icon. In the settings menu, select Free up to view how much storage is taken up by files that have been backed up to the cloud. Google Photos will redirect you to a new screen with additional information. On this screen, tap “Free up X GB” until you finish deleting photos.

Convert to High-Definition Photos. WhatsApp and Other Device Folders’ Photo Backup should be turned off. Unsupported Videos need to be deleted.

Simply go to the Google Photos settings page and uncheck Allow storage under the Storage section at the bottom. This will allow you to delete pictures without deleting them from your phone.

Open your phone’s settings menu. Open the settings menu on your phone. Select “Accounts” from the list (it may also be labeled “Users and Accounts,” depending on your device). Choose the account you want to delete. After that, tap “Delete Account.
