YouTube is a great place to store old videos. You can delete them easily and quickly. Here are some tips on how to do this:

  1. Log in to YouTube and click on the “History” tab.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Deleting videos” button.
  3. Enter the name of the video you want to delete and click on the “Delete” button.
  4. YouTube will ask you for your password, which you will need to enter if you have one. Once the video has been deleted, it will be removed from your account permanently!

You may get rid of any videos you’ve uploaded to your Google Account. If you remove a video, it is permanently deleted from YouTube; it cannot be retrieved. Make sure you have a backup saved if you want to watch the material again.

YouTube continues to store all previous films unless they were removed as a result of Community Standards or copyright infractions, or the creator removes them. Eventually, they’ll need to expand servers with more storage or remove old videos, but this isn’t going to happen soon.

If your account is verified, you can upload videos for as long as 15 minutes or less. If your account isn’t verified, you can only post videos for a maximum of 15 minutes. Your YouTube videos may be up to 12 hours long and up to 128 GB big if you are verified.

You risk losing SEO traction: YouTube is the second-largest search engine. Completely removing videos has a detrimental impact on any SEO authority linked to that particular video. It’s not possible to transmit this information. Always consider the brand effect of prior films.

There’s no need to do anything if you want your video to be private. Private movies will not appear in Public search results, and they will not appear on your channel’s “Videos” page. Anyone, you share the film with must have a YouTube or Google account. Find out how to share a Private video with someone else.
