If you’ve been inactive on Mint for a while, it might be time to delete your account. Here’s how:
- Log in to your Mint account.
- Click on the “Account” tab at the top of the page.
- Under “Account Settings,” click on “Inactive Accounts.”
- Select the accounts you want to delete and click on the “Delete” button next to each one. ..
Open the Mint app and go to Settings. Select Accounts and then tap the account you’d like to deactivate. Tap the pencil icon in the right corner. Scroll down to Status and select Inactive. Scroll and select Done
Can i delete inactive accounts on mint?
How do I delete inactive accounts on mint? The inactive account can be found in Activity => Incoming transaction. Account that have an empty balance and have been inactive for more than one year can be deleted. This article provides a step by step guide on how to delete those inactive accounts from your Mint account.
Step 1: Go to Mint(www.mint.com). On the homepage, you will see activity summary of your account. Click the ‘Income’ link at the right hand side of the page to go to income summary page
Step 2: From this page, click “See All incoming transactions (receive) for the current year”. From the drop-down list, click ‘More than a year’ as shown in the example. This will show you all outgoings on your current account.
Step 3: To delete an inactive account from your Mint account, simply select the check box next to the account (as shown by my sample image below), and then click Delete at the top of your screen. You will be asked to confirm if you really want this account deleted from your Mint Account permanently. Click Delete again to proceed with deletion.
Step 4: You’ve successfully removed an inactive account from Mint (www. mint.com).
If you want to remove another account, simply click on the back button at the top left hand side of your page. You will be taken to income summary page as shown above ( Step 1) and from there you can repeat the steps again.
Step 5: That’s it! After removing all inactive accounts from your Mint account, you can always go to the activity summary page on your Mint Account(www.mint.com). From there, you’ll see that there is less transactions than before.
