If you’re like most people, you probably have a few Google contacts scattered around your phone. If you want to delete them, here’s how:
- Open the Google Contacts app and sign in.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select “Delete.”
- Click on the “Delete” button and confirm your deletion by clicking on the “Confirm” button.
- Your Google contacts will be deleted from your phone!
Go to Settings > Accounts, turn off auto-sync, and sign out of your Google account. Check-in your phone’s contacts for any remaining Google entries.
Open the Settings menu on your Android phone or tablet. Google Contacts sync Status should be selected. Automatically sync should be disabled.
