On your old Android phone, go to “Settings” and then to “Privacy.” Select “Privacy” from the Settings menu. Remove the checkmark next to “Back Up My Data.” On the message that warns you that you’re about to delete your Google backup, click OK.

Open the Settings screen for your Android device, tap Backup & Reset, and then choose “Unlock for Android Device.” To delete the backup information from an Android device, unlock it. Open the application launcher and select the Settings icon. Scroll down to the Personal area and disable Back Up My Data and Automatic Restart by selecting their checkboxes.

On your dock, drag the “Backup and Sync” app into the Trash. Delete the “Application Support Google Drive” folder as well as its contents. If you don’t want to sync all of your Google Drive folders, open the Google Drive folder on your computer and note all of the folders that are set to sync.

To delete an account, go to Settings Accounts. This will give you a list of all the accounts that have been synced to your device across different social media platforms. Select the Google account you want to remove by tapping Remove Account. Confirm your decision by selecting Remove Account.

The simplest method is to reset your phone’s settings. Go to the Settings menu and select Sync. Make sure that Backup is unchecked. Sign in to Google Photos using your Google account at the Google Photos website. Select all of the images you want on your current device, then hit the bin icon in the top right corner.

It will erase your backup after two months of inactivity. There’s no way to recover a deleted backup if it disappears, so all of your settings and data could be wiped. According to Android Police, as long as you have one Android device checking in to the Google servers every few months, your backups should be safe.

Go to your Google Account. You might be asked to sign in. Select Personal Information. Click Email under “Contact info.” Alternative emails should be selected. You may need to sign in again. Remove the alternate email address next to it by clicking Remove.

Open the Google Drive app on your Android phone. In the top-left corner, tap the three horizontal lines and then Backups. Select Backups from the drop-down menu to view your WhatsApp backup. Tap Delete Backup after you’ve found the correct backup.

To delete the WhatsApp database, open your File Explorer and go to the location where you saved it. You’ll see a list of all WhatsApp sub-folders; tap and hold on to one of them. To remove a file from your device, go to Settings General Storage & eating media removal (or equivalent) Open your File.

Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone or tablet. sign in to your Google Account. Choose the items you wish to remove from your Android device. nap More Remove from Device in the upper right corner.
