If you’re a Gmail user, you may be wondering how to delete contacts from your phone. Here’s how:
- Open Gmail and sign in.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one with your name and email address).
- Type “delete contacts” into the text field and click on the “delete” button.
- Your contacts will be deleted from your phone, and you’ll need to re-enter them if you want them back.
In the upper-right corner of your screen, go to Contacts. Select all of the contacts you want to remove until you come across a checkbox. Check the box and then select any additional people that you wish to get rid of. To delete together all of them, choose All above the contact list.
You may now access the contacts page by clicking the Apps button in the upper right corner of your Gmail inbox. When you click the Apps icon, which is a square made up of nine smaller squares, it expands to expose a list of icons for other Google apps and services, including Photos, News, and YouTube.
On the top search bar, type the name or email address of the person you want to remove. Click the contact’s name or email address. On the upper right corner, choose Remove. Delete can also be accessed from below by clicking on Delete and then Yes when prompted with a confirmation box asking if you’re sure that you want to delete this contact
Simply open your “Contacts” folder. Select a person. After clicking the name of the person, click the “More” button and then select “Erase trace.” The option “Erase trace” may be found there.
On an Android device, the procedure to remove connections is similar. After selecting the contacts you want to delete in the Contacts app, tap and hold them until you see a check mark next to them, then hit the Trash button at the top of the screen.
