If you’re a Facebook user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the deletion feature. It’s one of the ways Facebook keeps track of who’s been using its site and how often. But if you’re not sure how to delete an unauthorized Facebook account, here are some tips:
- Log in to your Facebook account and click on the “Accounts” tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Deactivate.”
- Type in your desired password and hit “Deactivate.”
- Click on “Logout.”
You cannot delete someone else’s Facebook account. You can only deactivate the account, which means it will be hidden from public view and won’t show up in search results.
You can’t delete someone else’s Facebook account. You can, however, report them to Facebook for violating the Terms of Service. If they are reported enough times, their account will be deleted.
There is no set number of reports needed to delete a Facebook account. The company’s policy states that they will “remove content from Facebook if it violates our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.” That being said, there are some steps you can take to have your account deleted. The first step is to go to the Help Center and report the profile as fake. If this doesn’t work, you can also contact Facebook through their online form or by emailing them at [email protected]
Facebook has a number of ways to delete an account, and it depends on which method you choose. If you want to delete your Facebook account completely, you can do so by going to the “Delete My Account” page and clicking the “Delete My Account” button. Alternatively, you can also request that your account be deleted by sending a message to Facebook’s help team.
Facebook will remove a fake account once they are reported. However, it can take up to two weeks for Facebook to process the report and remove the account.
The person who made the fake account will have to be reported and blocked. They can then be reported to Facebook for violating their terms of service.
There are three ways to contact Facebook’s support team. The first is by clicking on the “Help” tab at the top of any Facebook page. The second is by visiting https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/ and clicking on the “Chat Now” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. The third way is to call 1-866-666-0822, which will connect you with a customer service representative.
If you are in the United States, it is recommended that you notify the police. If you are not in the US, it is recommended that you contact your local law enforcement agency.
