If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of old email addresses saved on your iPhone. Maybe you used to use a different email address for every website or account you had, or maybe you just accumulated a lot of them over the years. If you want to delete an old email address from your iPhone, there’s a pretty simple way to do it. ..

From the Home screen, go to Settings. Mail tap Accounts. Tap an email account from the ‘ACCOUNTS’ section. To confirm the deletion, touch Delete from My iPhone.

It’s straightforward to undo. In Mail, go to the ‘Window’ menu and select ‘Previous Recipients.’ Then click on the old email address and choose ‘Remove from List’ from the drop-down menu. This should be done whenever you get a message saying that your current email address has been changed.

If your email account is a business email address, there’s likely to be a profile on your iPhone. To delete the profile, go to SettingsGeneral Profile and then Remove Profile.

Tap to get there. Look for “Accounts and Passwords” at the bottom of the page. Select Set Up New Account from the drop-down menu, then follow along with these steps: In Settings, go to Contacts Privacy Accounts & Passwords Select Add Contact from the drop-down menu. To add contacts, select Contacts from the drop-down menu then toggle on Allow Contact Syncing. To delete a contact, first turn off Contacts then tap Delete from My iPhone in that same settings menu.

On Android, you may also delete your email account using a web browser like Chrome, but deleting it on the desktop is far more convenient.
