If you have an iPad, there are a few ways to delete your account.

  1. Go to the Apple App Store and search for “Delete Account.”
  2. Type in “iPad” and hit the Delete button.
  3. If you have an iCloud account, go to iCloud.com and type in “iPad” and hit the Delete button.

On your new iPad, go to Settings > General and sign out of your Apple ID. Finally, choose Settings > General > Reset from the drop-down menu. After you’ve made your selection, hit Erase all content and settings to confirm it. This will erase the old iPad’s data, but nothing on the new iPad will be harmed.

An iPad is a wonderful device when linked to your Apple ID. You may quickly access your iTunes library, connect to email and text messaging, and use iCloud’s limitless stores of personal data. Because you will lose access to the majority of your files if you remove your Apple ID from your iPad.

If you enable two-factor authentication for your Apple ID, you may not be able to view verification codes on your device if it is disabled. It won’t have access to iCloud or other Apple services, such as Find My until you sign in again using two-factor authentication.
