If you forgot your Instagram password, there are a few ways to get it back. Here are three tips:
- Go to the account’s settings and click on the “password recovery” button. This will ask you for your Instagram username and password. If you don’t remember them, you can also try using a different phone or computer.
- Type in your Instagram username and password in the " recovery text field" on the account’s homepage. This will give you a message that says your password has been recovered and should now be working as usual.
- If all of these methods don’t work, or if you just want to delete your account completely, go to the account’s settings and click on the “delete my account” button.
The first thing you should do is to go to the Instagram account recovery page. There, you will have the option to enter your username or email address and then, click on “Forgot Username?” Next, you will be asked to enter your phone number. If you entered the correct information, Instagram will send a one-time code to your phone. Enter that code on the next screen and voilà! You are now able to reset your password.
If you want to delete your Instagram account, you can log in through Facebook and click the “Delete My Account” button.You can also contact Instagram’s customer service to have them delete your account for you.
To delete a second Instagram account, you can go to the app and log out of your account. You can also log out of the app on your phone by going to settings and then logging out of Instagram.
Instagram does not allow the deletion of accounts. If you want to delete an account, you can make a new account with a different username.

If you get locked out of Instagram, it will be possible to regain access if you can answer your password’s security question.

There are two ways to delete an Instagram account. The first way is to go into the app and select the option to deactivate your account. This will stop your account from posting on Instagram, but it will not delete your account. To fully delete your account, you’ll need to log in and go through the process of deleting it.
To delete your login on Instagram, go to the app, scroll down to the bottom of the home page, and select “Log Out”.
There is not a set number of violations that will get you banned from Instagram. The number of violations you have will affect the length of your ban.
