If you want to delete an email account on your iPad, there are a few different ways to go about it. The first way is to open the Mail app and select the account you want to delete. Open the Apple ID account page on your website and edit the Settings link. Select a country from the drop-down menu, then click Continue. Tap on your name to go back to where you were before. Select Media & Purchases from the drop-down menu. Remove This Device can be found by scrolling down and tapping Remove This Device.

Visit appleid.apple.com, sign in, and then follow the steps below. Select Apple ID from the Sign-In and Security menu. Enter your current email address as your Apple ID. Change Your Email Address is the option to choose if you want to change your Apple ID address or remove it completely.
